Dr. Victoria Morris is the Director of Talent Development in the department of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion at CSUF. She also serves as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Morris came to CSUF in January 2015 from Chapman University where she held the position of Director of Career Services. Dr. Morris is responsible for the professional development/training of staff here at CSUF.
Dr. Morris’ educational endeavors include a B.S., and M.S. from the University of Southern California, an M.B.A. from the University of La Verne, and a Ph.D. in Education from Chapman University. She is a published author and continues to present at local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Morris returns to her alma mater frequently to facilitate presentations on career services and interviewing techniques. She has been sought after by various organizations to serve on advisory committees and panel discussions addressing educational issues and career services.
In her spare time, Dr. Morris is an acting President and International representative for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is married with two daughters and one grandson. Lastly, she is an enrolled tribal member of the Akimel O’odham people of the Gila River Indian Community in Phoenix, AZ.
